Bunk Beds

The boys have graduated to bunk beds. These are the beds that their cousins used to have so we painted them...which was a frustrating challenge...but we finally got them done and in their room. Their blankets have Harley Davidson motorcycles on them which the boys think is very cool.

The first night took a long time for the boys to fall asleep. The first time I went into their room, Cooper was up running around. I put him back in bed and explained that he needed to stay in his big boy bed and go to sleep or he would have to go back in the crib. We were in there a few more times telling them to be quiet and go to sleep. Then we heard "Cooper, no....get down. Cooper get out of my bed." Chuck went in and Cooper was sitting up in Carson's bed (with a huge smile on his face) so Chuck put him in the crib and they finally fell asleep. Cooper has done much better since then and they are having lots of fun playing in the beds.

Cool beds and blankets! When my girls first started sharing a bunk, Millie was always trying to sneak up into Addie's bed too. Let's face it, the top bunk is just cooler! Hope they continue to adjust well!
