June recap

Our month of June was extremely busy so I am going to do a quick recap of the highlights.

We held our second annual ADOPTwalk 1:27 walk-a-thon at our church to raise money for our church families who want to adopt. We had a great turn out again this year and we raised $7,800 to help bring children into forever families.

This sign shows all of the local companies that donated things that we gave away as door prizes and raffles. We had more than enough to have a prize for each person who registered to walk plus raffle items that walkers could earn tickets to try to win. We really appreciate the generosity of local companies who support our event.

The boys went to Heritage Camp and had a great time. This was Carson's second year and Cooper got to go for the first time. They learned a lot about life in Korea and learned a few new Korean words.

We did our second year of swim lessons and it was very different this year than last year. If you remember, last year Cooper cried and tried to move away from the side off the pool so he didn't have to get in. This year he was raising his hand and asking if he could go first and if it was his turn next. It was fun to see his confidence this year and to see how much he enjoyed it.

Carson did a great job again this year.
