Kendal is "1 whole hand"

Kendal is 5 years old now! It is hard to believe she is getting so big.

Cooper bought her a new nerf gun so she can be part of the "wars" around here and in the neighborhood.

She asked for a wand and this is the moment she realized she got one.

She got this umbrella that came with markers and she could color all the the sections that have candy on them. She loved doing it and then she couldn't wait for it to rain. It took many days before we got rain again and as soon as we did...

...she was out in it. She just stood in the driveway enjoying the rain and she had the time of her life.

Last year Kendal asked for a princess cake and I tried to make one and it was a disaster to say the least. This year since her birthday fell on a Saturday we decided to have a few of her friends over to play so we splurged and got the princess cake from the Meijer bakery that she has admired for the past year.

So the next day at her "party" we used what was left of the cake.
