June's house

We went on our annual vacation with the Brooks and Heagles and had another great week. The kids out numbered the adults this year for the first time, but I think we handled it really well. This year we rented a house on Lake Leelanau up near Traverse City. We arrived at the house right after lunch and we were ready to swim about 20 minutes later.

Tate really enjoyed the water and was very happy floating around.

On Monday morning we went into Traverse City and did some shopping. Then we had a picnic at a park and played for a while.
Carson likes to help push babies as they swing.

After tiring the kids out in the heat at the park, we went back to the house and did late naps so we would be ready for a special night at the Cherry Bowl Drive in Movie Theater. They were showing Toy Story 3 and we had great time.

Of course we had to go out for ice cream...

Cooper is not always a fan of ice cream so I thought a cookie would be a good idea. Who knew a chocolate chip cookie could do all that?

story time with Uncle Scott

We also spent a morning checking out Suttons Bay. It is a cute town with fun little shops. Here a few of the kids are waiting patiently for the rest of the group.

somehow they knew we were coming

Aunt Dawn brought water balloons and the kids had lots of fun with them. They were gone in a fraction of the time it took to fill them, but it was worth it seeing the fun they had with them.

The dads even got in on the fun...after Chuck jumped on Scott's back he walked over to the pool and fell backward and they both landed in with a huge splash.

Here are all 7 of the kids actually sitting in one place and most of them looking at the camera. From left there is: Cooper(3) Tate(10 mon) Millie(2) Addie(4) Ana(3) Will(13 mon) Carson(5).
