July 4th

We started our July 4th celebration by going to the Kentwood parade.

We sat across the street from the Fire Station right near where the parade started. The fire trucks led the parade and as the 3rd one was pulling out, it honked the horn. This caused Cooper and I to jump and started a slow work up to a horrified cry for Cooper. You know the kind...when the lower lip juts out and the face wrinkles up, but there is no real crying for a full minute. The crying soon followed and I got him out of the stroller to hold him. For the rest of the parade he had 2 positions. If there was a big truck that he thought would be loud....he was trying to climb up me, if there was candy being thrown...he would jump down to go get some.

We continued celebrating by spending the rest of the day at my parents. The weather was a little chilly, so we weren't in the lake, but we had a good day.

tired out after a long day...
